As we end the calendar year, people all across the country remember to think and act charitably by supporting their favorite organizations. We ask you to please make St. Francis Parish and School your choice! Even a modest gift will have a certain impact, and your generosity will make all the difference.
There are some unique ways you can give this year:
EMMAUS ROAD SCHOLARSHIP FUND: You can now use your TAX DOLLARS to give the gift of an authentically Catholic education at Francis School. When you donate to this Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund and designate St. Francis School in Newark, you’ll receive a dollar-for-dollar reduction of your OH tax liability.
IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER: Donors who are 70.5 years or older to transfer up to $100,000 from a traditional or Roth IRA to a qualified charity like The Catholic Foundation. In doing so, donors keep their IRA distribution from impacting their gross income and possibly avoid being bumped into a higher tax bracket, but hurry the deadline is Thursday, 12/15.
THE CATHOLIC FOUNDATION: We have several endowments that directly benefit the St. Francis parish school, cemeteries and outreach to the poor. The great news with Endowments is that they are the gift that keeps giving!
Alternatively, you can give a one-time gift directly to the parish here. And if you haven’t completed your annual Stewardship of Treasure pledge, there's still time and we’d love to hear from you. We have great plans for 2023 including the addition of an associate pastor to support our busy parish and school but can’t do it without you!
